======================== -edited Gray Slaad [hit points were wrong, ended up knocking two levels off them, 2 points of AC, and removed one spell like ability] -edited Dartkling Creep gear -Orbmistresses have Empowered Cold Orb in place of Haste -Darkling Rits had their Trickery Domain feat removed; we think it's causing ai issues -Traded IRon Will for Weap Finesse on the Darkling Overseers -minor edits to some of the relevant encounter templates were made - all are sorted together in the palette now. One encounter was set to Hard, rather than Normal; this has been changed to Normal. All encounters have been updated in the relevant areas. -flattened the "general" encounter folders to nuke the "Continuous" hierarchy levels -renamed the various subfolders to CR1, CR2, etc Kev - you need to update your tlk as I described to see the encounter palette update properly; no effect for regular players -------------------- Dreu Noctem

======================== -tweaked CR 14 Darkling builds/gear * removed all phsy DR gear, reduced some ats elemnetal DR gear * replaced shadow iron weaponry with regular +2ish weapons * Creeps now have Weapon Finesse instead of Thug feat * Ritualists have their Travel Domain Feat removed [ie no Domain feats left] -made an attempt to uniquify the Blood To Dust visual effects [untested] -worked on new CR 16 slaad/darkling area -remade Toadtongue -replaced "Dark Cave" with "Mawg Ngaw Barrows" [similar layout, different tileset, more distinctive name] - monsters are wips -minor cleanup in the trenches [redundant wps, stuff like that] Note: the Dark Caves hasn't been deleted yet, but is held for reference. It is no longer accessible, and will be deleted after some play testing of the new area. *to do: flavor texts in barrows/trenches; spire encounters -------------------- Dreu Noctem

======================== -deleted the customized heal kits we had [custom appearances only] -created Heal Kits +15 and +20, ignored some of the cheesey looking apperances which will go away in 018 -editted these scripts, which deal with HKs: x0_i0_talent [prolly no effect], dn_inc_lootbag, dn_o2_coninclude] -recompiled the mod -removed Implosion spell like ability from Enthralled Dusk Slaads [no other changes, they have other Save or Die fort spells] -bumped up Toadtongue's EMS stats slightly so he is better than the regular Dusk Slaads at casting -deleted "Northern Foothills - Dark Caves" [superseded by the Barrows, already in play] -added some respawning treasure placeables near Toadtongue -------------------- Dreu Noctem

======================== -the DM monster test area was slightly expanded at some point while I was testing VFX in my override [Comodo is messing with my local testing for the time being] -non-ATS winter wolves now have a creature item drop -"Babaeyl Public Docks - Ships" now are mapped on entry, as per other city exterior areas. -auditted all Babaeyl area variable settings -rebuilt the Babaeyl Public Docks - Ships using the Ship Interiors tileset -added some Seabirds to the Babaeyl Public Docks -Wounding Whispers scroll is now Bard only, as per the spell [it was allowing wiz/sorcs to use] -updated some lootscripts near formian queen -adjusted Arachnid Lair Silk Nest boss spawn a bit -fixed lootscripts in Shifting Sands - Central on Wheelbarrow and Arrow Filled Corpse -Chuck's gnome pirates now have creature item drops -------------------- Dreu Noctem

======================== -deleted unused areas: Builder Proving Grounds, Builder some area * these were test areas for a trap system we already removed -deleted a secret door from an inaccessible part of a builder's home - the builder isn't active, they can play with their house if/when they become active again - the scripts for that door no longer exist, as they are part of a removed trap system -added some basic VFX to the shrine activation script - we can get fancier later if we want. -made a new Darkling Fitor build [CR9] for under the Cybele Temple area -made a new Red Slaad build CR9 for the same area -reworked Temple Tunnel slightly to remove obsolete/unused old exit to dragon plains -redid the encounters in the Temple Tunnel [Tunnel of Tears] -roughed in a new area, some code, some journal, entries, etc for a possible new Nexus location -------------------- Dreu Noctem

======================== -the giedi magik shop may be interested in vile scrolls now [untested] -edited the high damage color for prismatic wall to be consistent with prismatic spray [documented in 018 hak update] [tof_s0_wallprisa.nss] -made a first attempt at implementing a boss quest for MC [see Buurag at Giedi Monastery] [untested] -added a nexus rift return to the bottom of darkling outpost - we have other plans to redo the whole thing, but that's it for now -updated instances on a couple loot blueprints used in darkling outpost -renamed SS- Under the Sands to "Shifting Sands - Nested Formian Loops" -deployed the rspi scriptset on the Fallen Expedition Member. The oblisk runestone should respawn as per usual here now. -made some minor changes to the Cybele Labyrinthe layout - tried to address ai pathing issues in the tileset by opening the area up a bit, but may need to rethink some encounter placements too, dunno -RSPI scriptsets will announce both 1) looted items and 2) unlooted items. This scriptset is generally reserved for special or quest stuff, so I think it's worth announcing the loot in game regardless [it respawns one item/PC] -formian queen's chest had a custom script on it for her special treasure and a bw lootscript. I've nuked the bw script and reused the RSPI scripts for all hooks except her custom one for her special treasure. -------------------- Dreu Noctem
